hella busy day
finally found time to get the front end assembled.... in addition to my first attempt at making chorizo and cheese stuffed peppers!

went to the 1st swapmeet of the season…..
I went to the first swapmeet of the season today and came home with the following....
- a papier-mâché elephant head
- cabinet casters with wood wheels
- fender badge from a 77 Mercury Monarch
… and the feeling that I completely missed the point of going to a hot rod swapmeet :)

motor is at the builder, bodywork is at the painter, parts are en route from Canada, the US and Japan.... it's so damn close to be finished, yet its so damn far from it too!

just scored a new new drillpress (with 5/8 chuck) for a screaming deal….
sits nicely between my hotrodded bandsaw and the cabinet I stole from the wife to store drills, sandpaper, blades and a bottle of Parton for those cold nights in the shop.
